Tortuga by PepeAR
Tortuga

Manati Bebe by PepeAR
Manati Bebe
Veracruz, Ver.

Well I've been with my camera for a while now, actually my second camera already, I started back in 2010 with a Sony Alpha 230 which, despite been an entry level model and coming from a unfamiliar brand (in the field) did great, I did take it to harsh conditions, I usually got into the sea with the water at my chest and eventually some kiters got me and the Alpha totally wet but it stands it ground, it was my first time with a DSLR and finally, last December, I took a step forward taking one of the earliest decisions on every photographer's life... I became a #NikonBoy, so now I shoot with a D7100 and I'm loving it.

And also, despite my Age (I'm 29) and the fact that I already finished a career (marketing) and previously studied 3 years of other, I'm about to take it to yet, a whole new level, I decided to become a professional photographer, I am about to study the photography career in the local College as my second (third, if I count my 3 years of Marine Biology). I'm already working as a photographer, I quitted my job at a local digital marketing agency and I'm doing fine and loving the way my life goes in this field for now, so that's the natural course of action I think. Unless, of course, someone here could give me any advise in the subject, maybe about not needing a full career, maybe just a degree or something. I would love to, in some point, get into photojournalism, but for now I'll just go with photography in general. So it would be 2 years and a half of study... again, I hope in the end I can say it was totally worth it... I'll let you guys know.

So I'll reboot my account, kind of do a fresh start, I'll erase most of my previous work in DA and some other communities such as Flickr, to start all over again, maybe some of my old favorite photos will be back with new editions, I'm also exiting to see what I can do with those Raw files after all the learning trough these years ... while I have to confess, I love taking photos, but not so in love with post production.

Please feel free to always give me your point of view, I do need it and it will be deeply appreciated. Guys, be as harsh as you need to, please, help me grow.

Cheers!
